The XGC-1e Complete Greenhouse Controller controls all of the main devices required in a modern hydroponics garden. The garden's HID lights are controlled by a precision 24-hour time clock. Two outlets are provided for lights. Hydroponics pumps are also coordinated with the central time clock. There are also two outlets on the XGC-1e for exhaust fans or an air conditioner. A built-in thermostat and humidistat handle the growing area's temperature and humidity control functions. The two pump outlets allow water pumps to be controlled by the built in Adjustable Cycle Timer. There is also a selector switch which allows the user to determine if the pumps are to run only when the lights are ON or 24 hours a day. An auxiliary NIGHT outlet is activated when the lights are turned off. This is great for controlling humidity at night using a dehumidifier. CO2 Injection is controlled by the Fuzzy Logic(tm) CO2 control. Fuzzy Logic(tm) can be compared to a good driver; as he approaches a red light, he applies the brakes to gradually slow down BEFORE getting to the intersection. Fuzzy Logic(tm) uses the same idea to keep the CO2 level at your desired setting, without going over the set point. Supplemental CO2 is coordinated to work in harmony with your exhaust fans. When the exhaust fans are running, the CO2 outlet is disabled to conserve CO2.
