The color of Superthrive can very greatly.  Superthrive tends to be a much lighter color right after it is manufactured.  With time it will continue to darken.  After a couple of years it can be a very deep brown color.  The color does not change its strength or effectiveness.   The light color of the Superthrive means that it is much fresher than the stuff that you bought at the other store.
